On Saturday, April 7, 2012 CFTV attend the official Atlanta Caribbean Carnival 2012 Press Conference and the Band Launch. Grenada celebrates its 38th Independence Anniversary
The Grenada Atlanta Association, Inc. celebrated its 38th Independence Anniversary on February 4th, 2012 in Stone Mountain, Georgia. The event was hosted by the President of the Association, Mr. Mike Roberts and was followed by Ms. Anthea Rullow (Treasurer) who kept the guests well entertained. A special message from ‘Her Excellency Gillian M. S. Bristol, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Grenada to the United States of America.’ was delivered by the President. The event also included an outstanding performance by other members of the Association which was written and directed by fellow Grenadian, Ms. Janice Strachan. Music was provided by Caribbean Focus TV host, Dj Ezzy B who kept the crowd moving all night long.

On March 17, 2012 Caribbean and American Entrepreneurs congregated at The BizLynks Center in the Promenade on Pleasant Hill Road to network and build new professional relationships at the Caribbean American Business Connections Meeting. It was quite a diverse crowd that filed through the doors of the center, shaking hands and exchanging business cards. Discussions of new collaborative projects and prospective one-on-one meetings rang through the air until the organizer, Ms. Sebrena Sumrah-Kelly, called all participants into the training room. Ms. Sumrah-Kelly address the audience by disclosing a bit about her professional journey and then commenced the individual presentations, where each business owner/ representative was called up to the front of the room to share a little information about their business.
